Servicing a Relatively New Car

You may be aware that new vehicles do not require MOTs for the first three years of their lives, while many manufacturers compliment this by offering a 3 year warranty, but that certainly doesn’t mean you should not service your vehicle in those three years.

When the fourth year arrives and your car is ready to be put through its MOT there may be many of problems and perhaps some costly repairs. Sometimes driving styles and minor problems can lead to big ones, even for relatively new vehicles.

Servicing a car before that MOT comes around can be wise, and it can give you a chance to replace any problematic parts early, meaning you’re more likely to have a smooth MOT when it does come around. You can also then be rest assured that your vehicle is performing well, because the fact is many new cars suffer from early problems.
